Vet Referrals

At Banner Road Veterinary Services, we aim to provide quality veterinary services to your cherished pets. In some situations, our veterinarians may refer them to specialists who are board-certified which means they have advanced knowledge and skills and will provide high-caliber services. Our doctors have general knowledge on pet care and services, but we rely on specialist doctors to provide care when your pet needs orthopedic surgery, cardiac services, rehabilitation, tonometry etc. We are very selective with referral doctors/clinics and only choose the best for our patients.

What should I expect from the referral process?

Our team usually works with our clients to fill out forms for the referred surgeon or clinic. Once completed, we share the necessary documents such as test results, diagnosis, or current treatment plan along with the referral forms. At the referred surgeon's office, they will examine your pet and explore treatment options. Our veterinarians often communicate with the referred doctor to discuss the patient's case.
